Job Description

Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for an Audio Visual Engineer with a major corporation, on-site in Lake Buena Vista, FL.



Description :

• Install, program, commission commercial audio-visual equipment and systems, including DSP, control, video routing, and video processing
• Implement, maintain and monitor digital playback, including software applications, hardware, and deployments
• Define project responsibilities with stakeholders
• Keep project tracker up to date with current project status
• Read and analyze CAD drawings, line drawing and signal flow to make decisions about equipment setup for optimal performance and reliability
• Design AV network that supports video transmission, including QoS profiles, and VLANS.

Basic Qualifications:

• Willingness and talent for learning, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes
• Ability to operate in a nimble and fluid environment, and to communicate with others (peers, leaders, various inter-departmental stakeholders) in a positive, upbeat and proactive manner
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple priorities independently and, when dealing with conflicting priorities and/or deadlines, use of strong decision-making capabilities related to proactive communication and management of stakeholders
• Strong networking fundamentals and experience (AV over IP, VLAN, QLAN, Dante)
• Organizational skills and time management skills to keep project on track to the finish

Required Education:
degree or equivalent work experience
