Bookkeeper

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to fill a vacancy in our client's accounting team. This temp-to-hire opportunity has opened due to a previous Bookkeeper not returning after medical leave.

The ideal Bookkeeper will be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, and have a strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals.

  • Employees can start work as early as 7 AM
  • 8 hours per day
• Full time 40 hours per week, overtime is offered!
• Compensation up to $26/hour

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing and bill payments.
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
• Handle payroll processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with other Bookkeepers to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Process credit card and ACH payments.

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a team environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
