Bookkeeper

Creative Financial Staffing is partnering with a family-owned business in Enfield, CT, seeking a Bookkeeper . The ideal Bookkeeper will have a strong accounting background with hands-on payroll experience.

About the Opportunity as a Bookkeeper:

Duties of the Bookkeeper:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, including financial reporting.
• Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.

Preferred Qualifications of the Bookkeeper:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with at least 1 year of payroll experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and payroll software.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask-key for a Bookkeeper .
