-Azure confidence and hands on experience (going to be guiding other teams release's)

-recent Groovy Scripting for jenkins is an absolute must have

-Datadog and splunk

-Kubernetes (they have 100 apps running in AKS)

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will work within Health Technology BU.

responsibilities:

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 7 - 10 years of DevOps Cloud Engineering experience

• Advanced knowledge of Groovy scripting for Jenkins

• Design/develop release automation scripts in conjunction with existing resources and tooling

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies.

• Experience overseeing the release of new software versions and managing the implementation process

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies), ideally with the related certification.

• Hands-On Kubernetes skills and knowledge, including GitOps for Release Management using ArgoCD, Helm, and/or similar technologies.

• Hands on experience with one or more Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, SplunkCloud, etc.).

• Proven experience in implementing advanced observability practices, including the monitoring of system behavior and resource utilization to identify constraints, prepare for future scaling needs, and ensure optimal system performance.

• strong technical design, development, analysis and problem-solving skills

• strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
