**Description**
**Twin Oaks Golf Course**, a JC Golf property, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional **Director of Catering** with strong verbal communication and customer service skills. This role will be responsible for overseeing the promotion, sales, coordination and facilitation of Catering events at the club and represent the club in negotiations with clients. Additionally, will research, identify and target new and repeat customers for the club to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

**HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU GET TO DO:**
Actively pursue prospective clients for future and repeat business and to build long-term client relationships by delivering a successful event program
Actively maintain a competitive analysis of pricing and offerings by researching the local competitors.
Hire, train, schedule, support, review, discipline and terminate employees directly accountable to his/her position and to maintain the highest possible levels of employee morale and department productivity.
Be responsible for identifying and attending professional events and trade shows throughout the year to target new business for the club.
Negotiate and execute Catering Agreements customized for each customer/group event.
Personally conduct informational tours of the facility with all prospective clients.
Meet and greet clients prior to scheduled functions and introduce them to catering and property staff
Plan, oversee and ensure proper execution of all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, room set-up and service, flowers and decorations, entertainment and all other special requests.
**YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:**
Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent experience required
Excellent use of the English language, both verbal and written
Must have at least ten years experience in catering sales, banquet management or meeting sales or coordination
Must have extensive knowledge of food, wines and cocktails
Must be computer literate, or able to gain literacy with planned installation of programs.
