Salary : £170,000 - £200,000 (depending on experience) + bonus and benefits

The company:

Our client is a multinational oil & gas group headquartered in London, with operations across the world. They are currently hiring a Director of FP&A to join their high performing finance team in central London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production of all routine management and Board information, containing accurate and reliable data, is produced in a timely manner and identify key insights and opportunities;
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A reporting processes, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs, with a strong focus on revenue, profitability, and cost efficiency metrics.
• Lead the Global budgeting, forecasting and 5 year plan processes, ensuring timely, insightful, and high-quality reporting for senior leadership and Board meetings
• Continue to drive the Groups focus on cash: improving cashflow reporting / forecasting and supporting the production of insightful analysis to support decision making and other (e.g. rating agency) discussions
• Own, adapt and develop the Groups financial KPI framework and track performance against key targets and outcomes
• Coordinate the capital investment appraisal and post investment appraisal process for the Group
• Lead the FP&A team, including staff recruitment, staff development, performance management and task management, proactively contribute to plans and priorities for the department

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, and leadership, ideally in high-growth or global organisations, especially in oil & gas, Shipping or similar sectors would be desirable
• CPA/ACA/CIMA/CFA or equivalent qualified with proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting at a senior level.
• Big 4/Top 10 accounting practice is highly desirable
• Strong background in financial modelling, formance analytics, and KPI management, with experience scaling financial processes.
• Experience managing finance for global operations, with an understanding of UK accounting standards.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
