Hawai i Pacific Health Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Pediatric Palliative Care physician to join a collaborative and dynamic team that provides comprehensive care for the entire State of Hawai i.
The Hawai i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state s largest health care providers. Kapi olani Medical Center for Women and Children is the premier pediatric hospital in Hawai i, a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center with established services supported by a wide spectrum of pediatric subspecialties, This is a unique opportunity in a state that has been rated nationally as one of the highest ranking in health care system performance.
Minimum qualifications: graduate of an approved residency program in Pediatrics followed by a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, or similar. Candidate must be board certified or eligible for certification in Pediatrics and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Candidates should be eligible to obtain a medical license in the State of Hawai i.
Besides the clinical responsibilities, participation in research and teaching through the University of Hawai i, John A. Burns School of Medicine is highly encouraged.
