We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pump Repair Technician to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to showcase your technical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As a Pump Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for the installation, removal, and startup of new equipment, with a focus on pump systems. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform base installations of pump systems: You will be responsible for installing pump systems and ensuring they are secure and properly aligned.
2. Handle new equipment startups: You will oversee the startup of new equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets all safety standards.
3. Carry out pump removals: You will be required to safely and effectively remove pump systems as needed.
4. Manage pump installations: You will install various types of pumps, ensuring they are correctly set up and functioning optimally.
5. Perform routine and emergency maintenance: You will conduct routine maintenance checks on all pump systems, and respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly.
6. Troubleshoot and repair issues: You will diagnose and repair any issues with the pump systems, using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
7. Maintain accurate records: You will keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work done, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
8. Adhere to safety procedures: You will adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pump Repair Technician or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with base installations, new equipment startups, pump removals, and pump installations.
3. Strong technical knowledge of pump systems and their operation.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues quickly and effectively.
5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical personnel.
7. A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
10. A relevant certification or diploma in a technical field would be an advantage.
