Proof of the Pudding has spent the past 42 years crafting culinary innovations and event experiences throughout Atlanta and beyond. Now operating in 16 states, numerous universities, convention centers, premier venues, and special events, our team is continuously growing!
We are seeking an Internal Recruiter to lead the charge of company-wide recruitment efforts from executive level to hourly efforts. The Internal Recruiter responsibilities include full cycle recruitment for executive level to hourly positions efforts including communicating hiring needs, disbursing qualified candidates across numerous venues, leading onboarding process, and relentless follow up with hiring managers, candidates, and new employees. 
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have an HR academic background along with work experience in sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates at all levels of business. This position’s ultimate goal is building an innovative and experienced workforce aligned with Proof of the Pudding’s values and business acumen.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Oversee the recruitment efforts across all levels of hiring – executive level to hourly needs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to write job descriptions for current openings
• Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks
• Research new job boards and innovative hiring processes to assimilate into Proof’s efforts
• Design and implement employee referral programs
• Source candidates through multiple external channels, our internal ATS program, Paycom, and grassroot recruitment efforts
• Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
• Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
• Report to hiring managers and HR managers on the status of open positions
• Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
• Responsible for tracking the metrics of hiring, retention rates, and position vacancy rates
• Determine qualification criteria for each position
• Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs
• Update job descriptions as needed
• Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process
• Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
• Participate in job fairs to boost company’s reputation and awareness
• Help new hires onboard and facilitate new hire orientations
• This position will require travel throughout the Greater Atlanta Area to Proof of the Pudding venues, job fairs, and in a recruitment support capacity
• Track retention progress -call, email, and text new hires 30, 60 and 90 touch backs. 
• Provide monthly retention reports to upper management.
• Weekly calls to new hires and facilitate onboarding process and start dates.
• Provide bi-weekly turnover analysis reports to upper management.
*Performs other related duties, as required. 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Hospitality Recruiting and/or Food & Beverage Recruiting
    • Recruiting experience in industries such as hotels, restaurants, stadiums, convention centers, or similar is necessary.
  • Associate degree or higher in Human Resources Management or related field 
  • Knowledge of personality assessments
  • Retention Program Knowledge
  • Spanish speaking ability is preferred
  • Must be comfortable commuting to Atlanta, GA

Specialized Skills

  • Proven skills in written and verbal communication
  • Experience conducting interviews with knowledge of best legal practices
  • Comfortable operating a computer, proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary
    • familiarity with our Applicant Tracking System, Paycom, is preferred
  • Motivated individually and determined to succeed
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting

Work Environment
This position will office out of Proof of the Pudding’s corporate office located in West Midtown. This position includes in-office work and travel.

Physical Demands: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of phone communication
  • Occasional standing, lifting, and equipment set up – mainly limited to job/career fairs
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. 

Position Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range of $60,000-$65,000 per year, plus competitive retention incentive plan
  • Proof is pleased to provide all full-time eligible employees with Basic Life and AD&D as well as long term disability at no cost to employees
