Job Details Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining case files.
- Draft, proofread, and amend legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Manage electronic filing systems to ensure accurate and easy retrieval of case information.
- Utilize firm central software for case management and document storage.
- Assist in the preparation for depositions, including gathering and organizing evidence.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role in the legal industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- A solid understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and document formats.
- Proficiency in using electronic filing systems and firm central software.
- Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus.
- A demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in preparing for depositions and managing legal documentation.
