Description

Description: As a Public Relations Assistant at TMZ Events, you'll play a vital role in shaping our brand's image and enhancing our reputation through strategic communication and media relations efforts. You'll work closely with the PR team to execute campaigns, manage media inquiries, and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns to promote TMZ Events and its clients.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, and other written materials to communicate key messages and announcements.
• Cultivate relationships with media contacts, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage and endorsements.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to the PR team.
• Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media events, ensuring smooth execution and maximizing media exposure.
• Assist in crisis communication efforts, including drafting statements and managing media inquiries during sensitive situations.
• Support social media efforts by creating engaging content and monitoring online conversations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Previous experience (1-2 years) in PR, media relations, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with media monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of PR strategies and tactics, including media pitching, press release writing, and event coordination.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
