Extensive MAC Management Experience is a must. Please highlight all corporate relocations and internal moves you've managed with 800 people and above. Decommissioning experience is a plus.

 

Qualifications, Responsibilities, and Essential Functions of a MAC Manager

 

Manage Relocation and Space Planning Projects:

  • Oversee all MAC activities for large projects, focusing on relocation, churn, space planning, and site decommissioning if applicable.

Project Tracking and Management:

  • Monitor and manage project progress against established goals, objectives, approved budgets, and timelines.

Issue Management:

  • Proactively address and manage project-related issues on account or assignment.

Client Requests:

  • Receive, process, and manage all client requests efficiently.

Planning Meetings:

  • Actively participate in all client-hosted planning meetings.

Project Plan and Budget Development:

  • Collaborate with facility, project, and construction managers to develop and implement comprehensive move project plans and budgets.

Client and Project Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effectively.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

  • Prepare and manage RFPs for vendor and contractor services required for project completion.

Policy Adherence:

  • Ensure all move processes align with client and Tyga-Box policies and procedures.

Reporting:

  • Develop and deliver project-specific reports as required.

Service Provider Coordination:

  • Coordinate with various service providers (IT, VTS, Construction, Associate Relocations, and Furniture Installation contractors) to determine and communicate implementation dates.

Relocation Planning and Implementation:

  • Plan, schedule, and execute relocations, providing main client contacts with scheduled dates, move instructions, and move orientations for large groups as required.

On-Site Support:

  • Provide move signage, general move directions, and be present on campus or at the move site to answer questions and resolve post-move issues.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale relocation projects, churn moves, and space planning.
  • Minimum five years as MAC Manager or related experience.
  • Experience with digital move management or facilities management systems.
  • New and existing facility construction and site decommissioning-related experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with IT and facilities management systems.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide move signage, general move directions, and be present on campus or at the move site to answer questions and resolve post-move issues.

Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Customer Focus:

  • Ensure customers' needs and interests are represented and prioritized with customer advocacy orientation and a proactive approach to client needs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • LEED accreditation or similar environmental sustainability certification is a plus.

Job Type:

  • 5 Days On-Site at Customer Location in any of the 12 cities listed above
  • Full-time
