Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced PHP Developer to work in the field of eCommerce.

The project is an online shop in Switzerland selling hair and beauty products.

The customer offers over 37,000 products for hair care, skincare, makeup, and fragrances from world-renowned brands such as Kérastase, Wella Professionals, Redken, and many more. The company is committed to high-quality service and fast delivery, ensuring climate neutrality in its operations.

Technology stack on the project: PHP 8.3, REST API, Docker/Google Cloud Run, Slim/Symphony, MariaDB 11.4/MySQL 8.0.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining a platform for returns management.
• Developing a self-service front-end for customers to register returns.
• Building and optimizing a backend system for customer service employees to process returns.
• Designing and managing a MySQL database to store returns data.
• Developing the platform as a microservice running in the cloud within a container, ensuring the database service is persistent from the cloud provider.
• Interacting with external systems using Pixi (SOAP API) and Magento (REST API).

Requirements

• Experience as a PHP Developer for 3+ years.
• Proven experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Docker and Google Cloud Run.
• Experience with Slim PHP Framework or Symphony Framework.
• Familiarity with MariaDB 11.4 or MySQL 8.0.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Level of German – from Intermediate and above.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
