Safety Coordinator

We’re currently seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to join our Plymouth, MN office. This role includes occasional travel to our sites in Colorado, Utah, Iowa, and Nebraska.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining safety programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Develop and deliver employee safety training programs to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety
• Manage and maintain safety equipment, including AEDs, Arc Flash kits, fall protection gear, and lockout kits
• Investigate workplace incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventative measures
• Assist with maintaining third-party safety sites, i.e., Avetta, Browz, ISN Networld
• Oversee and ensure compliance with DOT program requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 3-5 years in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting - training, audits & third-party safety sites

Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry regulations, DOT compliance, NFPA 70E standards, and ANSI guidelines

Skills: Strong communication abilities to conduct training and present complex information effectively

Attributes: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety

Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the flexibility to travel as needed
