Job Description
Blue Water industries, a growing aggregate producer is seeking to fill a Scale house position at the Port of Tampa in Florida. We offer a comprehensive pay & benefit package.
Specific Responsibilities:
§ Ensure the scale is opened and closed per official schedule. Scaling out trucks in timely fashion.
§ Ensure tare weights are updated in the system every 30 days.
§ Reconcile any COD sales at the end of each day and maintain accurate records.
§ Maintain and keep track of any manual tickets if system goes down. Get tickets entered in the system with 24 hours after the system is back up. Make sure that the ticket continuity is maintained and signed tickets are kept.
§ Maintain good working relationships with haulers.
§ Ensure a safe work environment for self and others at all times.
§ Communicate effectively and timely with sales staff.
§ Dispatching FOB trucks.
§ Effectively maintain files, paying attention to detail.
§ Preparing daily, monthly and special reports as necessary.
Technical Qualifications:
§ Strong customer service skills
§ Good computer skills & can perform basic math computations.
§ Knowledge of products, industry terminology.
§ Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and function effectively in a busy environment.
Must be a self-starter.
