As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role to assist with managing the day-to-day functions of our accounting department and the organization. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive team environment while also allowing for independent work and professional growth.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Assistant Controller and the Property Accounting Manager

• Assist with the property accounting review process.

• Assist with managing the organization’s bookkeeping and billing.

• Assist with other duties as assigned.

• Auditing team reports.

• Banking

• Budget processing.

• Coding

• Maintaining bank books, deposits, bank reconciliations.

• Managing a client portfolio, both cash and accruals.

• Month-end closing and reporting.

• Processing AP/AR and all postings.

• Preparing AP lists and check processing.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Experience with Adobe is preferred.

• Experience with Yardi or other real estate management software is a plus

Pay Details: 24.00 to 28.00 per hour
