Job Title: Water Solutions Consultant – MENA

Reporting to: Managing Director - AMEA

Location: Dubai, UAE (with business travel around the region)

Geographical Area of Responsibility: Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

Overall Objective for The Role: To deliver and grow sales revenues, gross margin contribution and market share within the geographical area of responsibility in line with the corporate strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities: meeting and or exceeding sales revenue and gross margin contribution targets, forecasting, planning and reviewing country/channel performance, distributor partner management, new business development, shaping specifications, representing the company in the best and most professional manner at all times.

Role Requirements

  1. To meet or exceed sales revenue, gross margin contribution and market share targets within the geographical area responsibility.
  2. To develop, maintain and enhance key business relationships with distribution partners, consultant engineers, contractors, government bodies within each country and other key stakeholders.
  3. To grow the current business within the region through market share growth in current market segments and by expanding product distribution in target market segments and countries.
  4. To produce and implement effective account and business plans.
  5. To define, agree targets and business activity with distribution partners to enable the business objectives to be achieved or exceeded.
  6. To monitor, analyse and report competitor activity within countries of responsibility.
  7. To identify new market segments and communicate opportunities and requirements.
  8. To provide accurate, realistic and up to date information for monthly reporting, forecasting, and business planning in a timely manner.
  9. To work closely/liaise with employees across Hydro International Ltd geographies and support functions to ensure a seamless service to customers from initial enquiry through to product delivery.
  10. To act at all times in an ethical manner to ensure the Vision, Mission, Values and Policies of Hydro International Ltd are being followed and applied.
  11. To travel to countries of responsibility and to the UK and USA as and when required.

General Responsibilities

  1. To apply the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001/ISO 14001 as appropriate within area of responsibility.
  2. To be responsible for the Health and Safety and Environmental aspects affecting self, employees and projects in your control.
  3. Other duties which the company may reasonably require the individual to undertake.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree level education

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years post-graduation work experience in technical sales
  • Proven B2B sales track record through a distribution business model
  • Good understanding of project selling with long sales cycles
