Security Officer as part of our growing team here in
Suffolk, VA PAY: $17.00 per hour
SCHEDULE: We have multiple shifts and schedules available. JOB TYPE: Varies
- Must feel comfortable using different levels of technology; willingness to learn proprietary applications as needed
- Must be able to comprehend and recall post expectations for each location
- Ability to create accurate activity and incident reports as needed
- Ability to observe, survey, report and respond to critical situations while on any given property
- Ability to multi-task a must as some job sites are very busy while others are slower paced
- Ability to meet all physical demands of each site which may include long periods of sitting, standing and walking
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prioritize providing excellent customer service to our clients, their staff, and visitors.
- Observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations.
- Read and write detailed reports in the third person.
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: - You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is preferred
- Ability to undergo and successfully complete an extensive pre-employment screening process.
- You have a state license if required.
